Taking a step towards transforming India's mapping ecosystem, leading 3D mapping company Genesis International announced a strategic alliance with the country's national survey and mapping authority, Survey of India (SOI). Leveraging Genesis' highly accurate navigable maps covering the entire country, Genesis' array of sensors for real-time high-precision positioning data and SOI's recently launched CORS (Continuously Operated Reference Station) network , This represents an important step forward in this collaboration. Genesis is to develop a highly accurate and fully navigable road dataset covering 8.5 million km of Indian towns and cities, with 40 million points of interest (POI) and unprecedented 1 million km of 360-degree panoramic imagery. International accolades underline its expertise. , Survey of India's CORS network, consisting of 902 stations across all states and union territories, provides real-time, high-precision position data.
