Jailed Iranian Nobel laureate Nargis Mohammadi will receive the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for social justice. Abraham Mathai, founder-chairman of city-based NGO Harmony Foundation, has announced to honor jailed Iranian Nobel laureate Nargis Mohammadi with the prestigious Mother Teresa Memorial Award 2023 for social justice. Line as a fearless defender of human rights and advocate against Iran's fundamentalist regime. She truly exemplifies humanity in action. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 26 in Mumbai. Taghi Rahmani, her husband and their children, 16-year-old twins, have agreed to attend the ceremony and accept the award on their behalf, Mathai said.
