India's Ramkumar Ramanathan clinched his third ITF title by winning the Kalaburagi Open by defeating Austrian David Pichler in straight sets in a one-sided men's singles final. Ramkumar, who won the ITF Mumbai Open last week, took just 64 minutes to see off Pichler's challenge 6-2, 6-1 at the Chandrashekhar Patil Stadium and clinch his third ITF title in a span of 57 days. Indian Davis Cup team member Ramkumar received a winning check of US$3200 and 25 valuable ATP points, while the visitors received prize money of US$2120 besides earning 16 ATP points. After both players held serve for the first five games, Ramkumar took the first lead by breaking David in the sixth game and never looked back, hitting some brilliant winners to take the rest of the game and take the set 6-2.
