1977 batch (retired) Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Kerala cadre, Dr C. V. Ananda Bose was appointed the Governor of West Bengal.

1977 batch (retired) Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Kerala cadre, Dr C. V. Ananda Bose was appointed the Governor of West Bengal. President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Dr CV Ananda Bose. He last served as an administrator in the National Museum here before superannuating in 2011. His appointment will take effect on the date he assumes charge of his office. Manipur Governor La Ganesan had been holding the additional charge of West Bengal since July 2022, when Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned to contest the Vice Presidential polls.
