Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Arunachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. PM inaugurated the first greenfield airport Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The airport has been developed in an area of over 690 acres at a cost of over 640 crore rupees. PM Modi dedicating 600 MW Kameng Hydro Power Station to the Nation. The power station has been developed at a cost of more than Rs8450 crore and the project aims to turn Arunachal Pradesh into a power surplus state. The Prime Minister also inaugurated ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’, a month-long programme being organised in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
