ISB professor Sarang Dev appointed by WHO to its TB advisory group

Professor Sarang Dev, Professor of Operations Management and Deputy Dean of Research, Indian School of Business (ISB) Faculty of Medicine, has been appointed to the Strategic and Technical Advisory Group (STAG) for Tuberculosis by the World Health Organization (WHO). A press release issued by ISB said that Professor Dev is also the Executive Director of the Max Institute of Healthcare Management at ISB. Professor Dev is known for his research on private sector engagement models for TB control and elimination. They sought to understand some of the key gaps in tuberculosis care and management in India and how they can be addressed. Professor Dev will be part of a 15-member group of global experts who will work with WHO and provide the Director-General with an independent assessment of the strategic, scientific and technical aspects of the organization's work on TB elimination.
