Mukesh Ambani's wealth has increased from ?1,65,100 crore in 2014 to approximately ?8,08,700 crore in 2023 and he has reached the top position. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani overtook Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani in the latest wealth rankings of 360 One Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2023 released on Tuesday. Ambani's wealth has increased by 2% to ?808,700 crore compared to last year. Adani's wealth declined by 57% to ?474,800 crore. In third place is Pune-based Cyrus S Poonawala, 82, promoter of Serum Institute of India, and his family, with a turnover of Rs 278,500 crore, 36% more than last year. Shiv Nadar (?228,900 crore) and London-based Gopichand Hinduja (?1,76,500 crore) were ranked fourth and fifth respectively. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Chairman Dilip Shanghvi (?1,64,300 crore) was ranked sixth.
