Amazon Pay introduced EMI option on RuPay credit cards on Thursday, October 19. The company said the move is aimed at making online shopping convenient and affordable for customers. During the first 48 hours of the Amazon Great Indian Festival, the company said EMI has emerged as the most preferred payment mode, with 1 in 4 shopping orders placed on instalments; And 3 out of 4 EMI orders are on No Cost EMI. EMIs on RuPay credit cards will be offered across eight major issuing banks. The company said that with EMIs on RuPay credit cards, customers will get increased flexibility and affordability to shop during the festive period.
