The Union Ministry of Rural Development has released the delta ranking, in which Jharkhand has topped in the delta ranking of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Rurban Mission with composite score of 76.19 in the month of June 2022. With this, the state has improved its position to 8th place in overall ranking of the mission. Puducherry with a delta score of 0.83, Assam with a delta score of 0.75 and Odisha with 0.71 are placed in second, third and fourth position respectively in the delta ranking for June 2022. Rurban Yojana’s objective is to focus on the area’s general improvement.
