Kokborok Dayis observed on the 19th of January every year. Kokborok Day (Tripuri Language Day) is a festival celebrated in the Indian state of Tripura to celebrate the development of the Kokborok language. Kokborok is the official language of Tripura. This day was chosen to commemorate its early recognition as an official language in 1979. On 19 January 2022, Tripura is celebrating of the 44th Kokborok Day.
