Luc Frieden is a Luxembourgish politician and lawyer, who has been nominated as the current and 23rd Prime Minister of Luxembourg from 2023.

Luc Frieden (born 16 September 1963) is a Luxembourgish politician and lawyer, serving as the current and 23rd Prime Minister of Luxembourg since 2023. In early 2023, he was selected as CSV's lead candidate for the general elections in October. Friedan completed high school at the Athénie de Luxembourg and then received international university education in France, the UK and the US. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He received a Master of Comparative Law from Queens College, Cambridge and a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School. Apart from Luxembourgish, he speaks fluent English, German, French and also has a good knowledge of Dutch. Frieden joined Deutsche Bank in September 2014 as a vice president. While based in London he advised the management board and senior management on strategic aspects relating to international and European affairs. He also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg. ​
