Bharat Biotech and Sydney University sign MoU for vaccine research

Vaccine and biomedical manufacturer Bharat Biotech and the Sydney Institute of Infectious Diseases (Sydney ID), University of Sydney, announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance vaccine research and collaborate to combat infectious diseases globally. Have signed. The international agreement aims to foster stronger collaboration between sectors and organizations to develop innovative ways to tackle future pandemics and infectious diseases. The partnership also seeks to leverage the strengths of academia and industry to advance the science of vaccines and biotherapeutics. India's expertise in vaccine manufacturing, demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic, has played a key role in meeting more than 60 percent of the world's vaccine demand and supplying more than 2.4 billion doses. The University of Sydney Institute of Infectious Diseases is a center for infectious disease research, education and advocacy. Its experts lead global health initiatives, including the development of innovative vaccines, studies on antimicrobial resistance, and efforts to combat tuberculosis.
