IIT Madras to Develop India’s First 155mm Smart Ammunition.

IIT Madras has partnered with Munitions India Limited (MIL) to develop India's first indigenous 155mm Smart Ammunition. This precision-guided ammunition will be compatible with existing 155mm artillery guns like the Dhanush and ATAGS. It aims to improve accuracy and reduce collateral damage.
