Government Releases 19th Installment of PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme worth over Rs 21,000 crore to more than 9.5 crore beneficiary farmers. The funds were transferred directly into the bank accounts of farmers via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible landholding farmer families receive a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments.
  • The PM also launched the "Kisan AI Chatbot 2.0" to help farmers with scheme-related queries in regional languages.
  • Since inception, over Rs 3.5 lakh crore has been disbursed to farmers under this scheme.
