The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, is observing the Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhwada (Tribal Pride Fortnight) from November 1 to 15, 2025. The Pakhwada is organized to commemorate the contributions of tribal freedom fighters, leaders, and artists to the nation's history and culture, focusing particularly on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on November 15. A series of events, exhibitions, and educational programs are being held across the country to raise awareness about tribal heritage and promote their holistic development.
