India-France joint military exercise 'Shakti 2025' begins in Meghalaya

The 8th edition of the India-France joint military exercise, 'Shakti 2025', commenced on November 1, 2025, at the Joint Training Node in Umroi, Meghalaya. This biennial exercise aims to enhance joint military capability to undertake multi-domain operations in a conventional scenario.
