Indian Army participates in ADMM Plus EWG Counter Terrorism Field Training Exercise 2023

An Indian Defense Ministry statement said 32 personnel from a battalion of Rajputana Rifles have participated in the ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting (ADMM) Plus Expert Working Group (EWG) on Counter Terrorism Field Training Exercise (FTX) 2023. India is trying to ensure that it has good relations with all the major powers. This has become a major goal of Indian foreign policy. At the political level, India has been trying to work with the Quad as well as BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and several other mini-lateral partnerships in recent years. Extending this to the military and security sectors, India is once again breaking into opposing camps by engaging in simultaneous military exercises with both the United States and Russia, while trying to balance its strategic interests.
