Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Launches Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 for School Students.

In September 2025, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Ministry of Education (MoE), recently launched the 'Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025', a nationwide innovation movement designed to engage students across schools in India. During the event, he also unveiled the official jingle and logo of the initiative.

      - Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 is India’s largest school hackathon, promoting grassroots innovation and expanding upon the School Innovation Marathon 2024.

Main Point :-   (i) The programme is organised by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), MoE, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

      (ii) Students are encouraged to develop products and solutions around four key themes: Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, and Samriddhi, fostering creativity aligned with national priorities.

(iii) The Buildathon runs from 23 September to 31 October 2025, with expert evaluation from 1 November to 31 December 2025, and results along with felicitation of over 1,000 winners scheduled for January 2026.
