Main Point :- (i) By 2025, over 5.5 billion people are online, and the Web has become an essential utility—used for education, governance, banking, entertainment, and everyday communication, shaping social and economic relationships across the globe.
(ii) World Wide Web Day is marked worldwide through events such as webinars on cybersecurity and digital literacy, hackathons for Web‑based solutions, awareness campaigns on safe surfing, and workshops aimed at educating users about responsible and inclusive Web usage.
(iii) Despite its transformative potential, the Web faces critical challenges—cybersecurity threats, data privacy breaches, misinformation, and unequal access. The 2025 celebration calls on governments, technologists, and users to act together in safeguarding an open Web that empowers all.
