In expert consultation meetings chaired by Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, scholars including Udaya Narayana Singh, K. Ramasubramanian, and Sudha Gopalakrishnan helped shape policy frameworks, metadata standards, and digitisation protocols. The revamped structure envisages an autonomous institutional mechanism replacing the earlier IGNCA sub‑structure for better efficiency.
  • (iii) A Three-Day International Conference will be held in New Delhi from September 11–13, 2025, marking Swami Vivekananda’s 1893 address. It will gather 500 delegates for sessions on AI-based script recognition, conservation, and paleography, showcasing startups and innovations in manuscript preservation—blending ancient Indian knowledge with modern scholarship and diplomacy.
