Panos Mytaros Named New Global CEO of Bata Group and Succeeds Sandeep Kataria.

Effective September 15, 2025, Panos Mytaros will take over as the Global CEO of Bata Group, succeeding Sandeep Kataria, who has led the company since 2020. Kataria will support the transition for up to six months, ensuring leadership continuity.
- Mytaros brings more than 30 years of global experience in the footwear and leather industry, having held senior leadership roles at ECCO, including serving as CEO from 2021 to 2024. Known for brand building, cross-border operations, and value chain innovation.
- The appointment signals Bata's renewed focus on workforce innovation, globalization, and digital modernization. Mytaros is expected to spearhead employee capability building, customer-centric innovations, and modern retail expansions to strengthen the company's global footprint.
