The 2025 Taiwan Athletics Open, a part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze (Category C), was held from June 7 to June 8, 2025, at Taipei Municipal Stadium, Taipei City, Taiwan.
- India delivered a stellar performance, clinching 16 medals, which included 12 Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze.
- India surpassed strong contenders Australia and Japan, who secured the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the final medal standings.
- In the 2024 Taiwan Athletics Open, India had won a total of 7 medals, comprising 3 Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze, showing a remarkable improvement in 2025.
Main Point :- (i) A 34-member Indian contingent displayed exceptional performances across various track and field disciplines.
(ii) Notable athletes like Annu Rani (Javelin Throw), Rohit Yadav (Javelin Throw), Jyothi Varraji, and Pooja (800m) were among the top performers, with several delivering record-breaking achievements.
