The Candere Hurun India Women Leaders List 2025 was launched on June 4, 2025, by Mumbai-based luxury jewellery brand Candere in partnership with Hurun India. This inaugural list recognizes 97 influential Indian women leaders across various sectors.
- These women have significantly contributed to India’s economy in fields such as finance, technology, philanthropy, arts, and start-ups, showcasing a broad spectrum of leadership and innovation.
- Leading the Professionals category is Shanti Ekambaram (62), Deputy Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Bank, highlighting her prominent role in the banking sector.
Main Point :- (i) Radha Vembu, co-founder of Zoho Corporation from Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, tops the First-Generation Wealth Creators category, while the 97 women on the list collectively manage businesses worth over ₹11.7 lakh crore (around USD 140 billion), showcasing their significant economic impact.
(ii) Among the youngest leaders, Isha Ambani (33), Executive Director of Reliance Retail, ranks sixth in the Young Women Leaders category, while the youngest honouree on the list is Mrunal Panchal (26), a social media influencer and entrepreneur.
(iii) The list also honors diversity in age and expertise, featuring the eldest honouree, celebrated artist Arpita Singh (87), symbolizing the range and depth of women’s leadership across India.
