App and Web Portal

On May 30, 2025, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, Ministry of Ayush (Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India (GoI), inaugurated the "Ayush Suraksha Portal" at Ayush Bhawan, New Delhi (Delhi).

      - This portal serves as a centralized digital platform for reporting and monitoring misleading advertisements (Ads) and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) related to Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homeopathy medicines and services.

      - The portal was developed with technical support from the Chennai (Tamil Nadu, TN) based Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) and is aligned with the National Pharmacovigilance Program.

      - The development of the Ayush Suraksha Portal is in line with the directive of the Supreme Court of India (SCI), as per its order dated July 30, 2024, in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 645/2022, which mandated the creation of a centralized dashboard to monitor misleading advertisements and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) by June 2025.

Main Point :-   (i) The Ayush Suraksha Portal allows citizens, healthcare professionals, and regulators to digitally report misleading advertisements and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs). It facilitates real-time data analysis, live monitoring, and coordinated enforcement across systems.

(ii) The portal ensures transparency by enabling users to track the status and actions taken on their complaints, promoting greater trust and accountability in the grievance redressal process.

(iii) It integrates data from multiple regulatory authorities such as CDSCO, MoI&B, CCPA, NCISM, NCH, FSSAI, PCI, and SLAs, creating a comprehensive framework for effective surveillance and regulation of traditional medicine systems.
