Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Inaugurates Curtain-Raiser Ceremony for Wings India 2026.

In May 2025, Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), inaugurated the curtain raiser event for Wings India 2026, Asia's largest civil aviation event, at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi, Delhi.


      - The event was organized in collaboration with the New Delhi-based Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), highlighting the strong industry-government partnership in promoting civil aviation.

      - It marked the official launch of preparatory activities for the main Wings India 2026 event, which is scheduled to take place from 28th to 31st January 2026 at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, Telangana.

     

Main Point :-   (i) The theme for Wings India 2026 was announced as: "Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – from Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation, and Safety to Sustainability."

      (ii) The event included the launch of the Wings India 2026 Brochure, a promotional video, and the official unveiling of the Wings India 2026 Mobile Application (app) to enhance global stakeholder engagement.

(iii) The event was attended by key dignitaries including MoS for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, MoCA Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha, AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar, BCAS DG Rajesh Nirwan, FICCI Civil Aviation Committee Chairman Remi Maillard, and FICCI DG Jyoti Vij, underscoring its significance for the future of Indian civil aviation.
