Manipur Tops Medal Tally with 14 Medals at Khelo India University Games (KIBG) 2025.

In May 2025, the first-ever Khelo India Beach Games (KIBG) were organized from May 19 to 24, 2025, in Diu, Union Territory (UT) of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNHDD).
- The national-level beach sports event was hosted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), Government of India (GoI) to promote beach sports and foster grassroots athletic talent.
- Manipur topped the medal tally with a total of 14 medals (5 Gold, 6 Silver, 3 Bronze).
Main Point :- (i) Maharashtra secured second place with 20 medals (5 Gold, 5 Silver, 10 Bronze).
(ii) Nagaland finished third with 13 medals (5 Gold, 3 Silver, 5 Bronze), marking its first-ever top-three finish at any Khelo India event.
(iii) Host Territory DNHDD ranked 7th with 5 medals (4 Gold, 1 Silver), with all four golds won in the sport of Pencak Silat.
