In May 2025, Daniel Noboa of the National Democratic Action (ADN) party was officially sworn in as the 48th President of the Republic of Ecuador during a ceremony held at the National Assembly in Quito, Ecuador. His inauguration marked the commencement of a full four-year term (2025–2029), alongside Vice President María José Pinto.


      - The swearing-in ceremony was attended by several international dignitaries, including Colombian President Gustavo Petro, Peruvian President Dina Boluarte, and U.S. Health Secretary Robert Kennedy, reflecting global diplomatic engagement with Ecuador’s leadership transition.

      - At 37 years of age, Daniel Noboa retains the distinction of being the youngest president in Ecuador’s history.

      - He previously took office in November 2023 following a snap election, serving the remainder of former President Guillermo Lasso’s term.

Main Point :-   (i) Daniel Roy Gilchrist Noboa Azin was born on November 30, 1987, in Miami, Florida, USA. At the age of 18, he founded DNA Entertainment Group, an event management company.

      (ii) He later joined his family-owned Noboa Corporation, serving in leadership roles such as Shipping Director and Commercial & Logistics Director. In 2021, he began his political journey as a member of the National Assembly, serving until May 2023.

(iii) In April 2025, Daniel Noboa was re-elected as the President of Ecuador by defeating Luisa Gonzalez of the Citizen Revolution Party.
