Vice President Dhankhar Dedicates Key Infrastructure and Cultural Projects During Goa Visit.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar concluded a three-day official visit to Goa from May 20 to 22, 2025, with a focus on infrastructure development, scientific advancement, and the promotion of India’s rich cultural heritage.
- During his visit, he inaugurated and dedicated several key projects under the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) and unveiled statues of Acharya Charaka and Sage Susruta at the Raj Bhawan in Goa, celebrating India’s ancient contributions to medicine.
Main Point :- (i) Inauguration and dedication of three major infrastructure projects at Mormugao Port, with a combined financial outlay of ₹300 crore, aimed at boosting port operations and connectivity.
(ii) Launch of a 3 MW Solar Power Plant at the port, developed at a cost of ₹18 crore, marking a significant step towards sustainable and green maritime infrastructure.
