Pankaj Advani Secures Third Straight Title at CCI Billiards Classic 2025.

In May 2025, Indian cue sports icon Pankaj Advani clinched his third consecutive title at the CCI Billiards Classic 2025, defeating Dhruv Sitwala with a 5-2 scoreline in the final held at the Wilson Jones Billiards Hall, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The tournament was conducted from 25 April to 4 May 2025.


      - Advani was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2.5 lakh, while runner-up Dhruv Sitwala received Rs. 1.5 lakh.

     

     

Main Point :-   (i) Pankaj Advani's 2025 CCI Billiards Classic win marked his third consecutive title at the event, adding to his illustrious tally of 28 world titles under the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF), spanning across billiards, snooker, and pool formats.

      (ii) 🇮🇳 Domestically, Advani has secured 36 national titles, with his most recent victory at the 2024 Billiards and Snooker National Championships. He has also made his mark internationally by winning two Asian Games gold medals, in 2006 (Doha) and 2010 (Guangzhou).

(iii) In recognition of his exceptional achievements, the Government of India has honored him with several prestigious awards: the Arjuna Award (2004), the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award (2006), the Padma Shri (2009), and the Padma Bhushan (2018) in the Sports category.
