In May 2025, Indian shooters Kynan Chenai and Sabeera Haris clinched the bronze medal in the Trap Mixed Team event at the 2025 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Shotgun World Cup, held from May 3 to 12, 2025, in Nicosia, Cyprus. This marked the third ISSF Shotgun World Cup of the 2025 calendar.


      - The Indian duo edged past Turkey’s pair, Tolga Tuncer and Pelin Kaya, with a tight 34-33 victory in the bronze medal match.

      - Kynan Chenai and Sabeera Haris secured the 4th position in the qualification round among 34 teams, scoring 142 out of 150.

      - The second Indian team, consisting of Shardul Vihan and Kirti Gupta, placed 17th with a qualification score of 137.

Main Point :-   (i) China captured the gold medal in the event by defeating Poland with a score of 42-39, while Poland settled for silver.

      (ii) In the overall medal standings of the ISSF Shotgun World Cup 2025, Neutral Athletes topped with 2 gold medals, followed by China with 1 gold and 1 silver, while Spain and Italy shared third place with 1 gold medal each.

(iii) The next ISSF Shotgun World Cup is scheduled to be held from July 4 to 14, 2025, at the Trap Concaverde range in Lonato del Garda, Italy.
