On May 11, 2025, Russian Grandmaster (GM) Ivan Zemlyanskii won the open title, while Kazakhstan's Woman Grandmaster (WGM) Alua Nurman secured the women's crown at the 2025 Asian Blitz Chess Championship held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
- The tournament was organized by the Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club under the authority of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and the International Chess Federation (FIDE).
Main Point :- (i) GM Ivan Zemlyanskii remained undefeated throughout the championship, scoring 8 points out of 9 rounds to clinch the title. He was awarded a cash prize of USD 2500.
(ii) WGM Alua Nurman won the women's title by scoring 7.5 points, narrowly defeating Russia’s Valentina Gunina based on a superior opponents' average rating. She received a cash prize of USD 1500.
