In April 2025, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Recently Inaugurated VVDN Technologies’ Largest State-of-the-Art Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Line and Mechanical Innovation Park at its Global Innovation Park in Manesar, Haryana.


      - During the event, he also unveiled India’s first fully designed Artificial Intelligence (AI) server 'Adipoli', developed by VVDN Technologies. The server is equipped with 8 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and marks a significant milestone in India’s tech innovation.

      - India’s electronics manufacturing sector has grown 5 times in the last 6 years, with its total value now exceeding Rs 11 lakh crore.

      - Electronics exports have surged 6 times to over Rs 3.25 lakh crore in the same period, and the sector now employs over 25 lakh people, with expectations of exponential growth in the coming years.

Main Point :-   (i) The newly inaugurated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Line at VVDN Technologies supports Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) of up to 850 mm Ă— 560 mm in size and boasts an industry-leading speed of 2,50,000 components per hour (CPH). This high-speed capability significantly enhances the efficiency and scale of electronic product manufacturing.

      (ii) This state-of-the-art infrastructure will enable VVDN to produce large and complex products such as AI servers, networking equipment, and motherboards. The move is set to play a crucial role in reducing India’s dependence on imports while strengthening the nation’s supply chain resilience in the electronics sector.

(iii) In addition, the newly opened Mechanical Innovation Park, spanning 1,50,000 sq.ft, is equipped with mold and tool-making setups, wire-cut machines, and advanced injection molding systems. The facility establishes a fully integrated design-to-manufacturing ecosystem, and is expected to generate over 3,000 new skilled jobs, further aligning with the Government of India’s vision for employment generation and fostering high-tech skills.
