India Clinches 8 Medals, Secures 2nd Spot Behind China at ISSF World Cup 2025.

In April 2025, India successfully concluded the first leg of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup 2025 held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, securing a total of 8 medals—4 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze.
- India finished second in the overall medal tally, while China topped the chart with 11 medals (5 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 Bronze). The event was conducted from April 1 to April 11, 2025.
- Saurabh Chaudhary and Suruchi Singh (18 years old) secured the bronze medal in the mixed team event by defeating Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker and Ravinder Singh.
Main Point :- (i) In the Men’s 10m Air Pistol event, Rudrankksh Patil won the gold medal with a score of 252.9, beating Hungary’s Istvan Marton Peni.
(ii) In the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event, Vijayveer Sidhu made history by becoming the first Indian to win a gold medal in this event at any ISSF World Cup, scoring 29 points.
(iii) United States of America (USA) finished third with a total of 6 medals (2 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze).
