Singapore Changi Named World's Best Airport for 13th Time at Skytrax World Airport Awards 2025.

On 9 April 2025, Singapore Changi Airport was awarded the title of World's Best Airport during the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2025, held at the Passenger Terminal Expo at Institución Ferial de Madrid (IFEMA) in Madrid, Spain. This marks the 13th time Singapore Changi Airport has won this prestigious title, setting a record in the history of the awards.
- Doha's Hamad International Airport (HIA) secured the second position, and Japan's Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) ranked third.
Main Point :- (i) Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in New Delhi was ranked 32nd and was also named the Best Airport in India and South Asia for 2025.
(ii) Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru was ranked 48th. It was also awarded the title of Best Regional Airport in India & South Asia. KIA’s T2 terminal received a Skytrax 5-star airport terminal rating, making it the first airport in India to achieve this rating.
(iii) Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad was ranked 56th. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL), which operates RGIA, was honoured with the 'Best Airport Staff in India & South Asia 2025' award for the fourth consecutive time.
