  • (i) The revamped Microdata Portal is a centralized digital repository offering enhanced access to datasets from national surveys and economic censuses. Developed in collaboration with the World Bank Technology Team (Washington D.C., USA), it overcomes earlier tech limitations and boosts data dissemination. Built on a modern, scalable, and secure tech stack, it features a responsive design and improved data access mechanisms.
  • (ii) The National Statistical System Training Academy (NSSTA) website is a centralized platform developed in-house by the Data Informatics & Innovation Division (DIID) of MoSPI. It serves as a hub for capacity-building initiatives, making training and development resources easily accessible to stakeholders in the statistical ecosystem.
  • (iii) The AI/ML-Based Classification Tool is a Proof of Concept developed by MoSPI to automate the classification of economic activities using the National Industrial Classification (NIC) system. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP), the tool simplifies the categorization process, reduces manual effort, and enhances data collection accuracy—ultimately supporting more efficient policymaking.
