National
The Sagarmala Programme, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), launched in March 2015, has successfully completed 10 years of implementation.

- The Sagarmala Programme is an integral part of the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 (MAKV), which envisions India as a global leader in maritime affairs.
- Developed based on the Maritime India Vision 2030, MAKV has set ambitious targets, including achieving 4 million Gross Tonnage (GT) of shipbuilding capacity and handling 10 billion metric tons (MT) of cargo annually. It also aims to position India among the world's top 5 shipbuilding nations by 2047.
