On March 25, 2025, the Department of School Education & Literacy (DOSE&L), under the Ministry of Education (MoE), launched the "Baalpan ki Kavita" initiative to compile traditional and newly composed nursery rhymes in Bhartiya Bhasha (Indian languages) and English.

  • (ii) The contest invites participants to submit either traditional folklore rhymes (with author attribution) or newly composed, joyful poems in three categories: Pre-primary (ages 3-6), Grade 1 (ages 6-7), and Grade 2 (ages 7-8).
