In March 2025, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), under the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), hosted its 28th Convocation & Shishyopanayaniya Samskara ceremony in New Delhi. The event focused on enhancing the quality of Ayurveda education and promoting its global presence. Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Prataprao Jadhav, Ministry of AYUSH, graced the event.

  • - The event saw the recognition of prominent Ayurvedic practitioners, accreditation of leading institutions, and the unveiling of initiatives to advance Ayurveda education and practice globally.
  • - During the event, one international institution and six national institutions were accredited for maintaining high standards in Ayurveda education and practice.

  • (i) The prestigious Fellow of RAV (FRAV) Award was presented to 13 distinguished Vaidyas and scholars for their outstanding contributions in research, clinical practice, education, and propagation of Ayurveda.
  • (ii) Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) also presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to four distinguished individuals for their exceptional contributions to Ayurveda.
