In March 2025, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), announced a USD 1 billion fund aimed at boosting the creator economy, during a high-level session at the World Audio-Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025) held at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi (Delhi).

  • - The fund will support creators in accessing capital, improving their skills, enhancing production levels, and reaching global markets.
