Ernakulam (Kerala)-based All India Spices Exporters Forum (AISEF) Hosted International Spice Conference (ISC) 2025 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The All India Spices Exporters Forum (AISEF), headquartered in Ernakulam, Kerala, organized the International Spice Conference (ISC) 2025 from February 24 to February 27, 2025, at Leela Bhartiya City, Bengaluru, Karnataka.


      - The conference focused on fostering discussions to create a resilient and responsible future for the spice industry.

      - Theme of ISC 2025: 'Building Trust Beyond Borders: Transparency, Sustainability, Conference'.

     

Main Point :-   (i) The conference was inaugurated by Krishna M. Ella, Executive Chairman, Bharat Biotech International Limited.

      (ii) During ISC 2025, AISEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA) to strengthen international cooperation in the spice trade.

(iii) Paresh Shah, Chairman of the Sub-Committee, Scientific Panel on Pesticide Residues, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), announced that a revised Maximum Residue Level (MRL) for spices and culinary herbs is under development, which is expected to enhance global market access for Indian spice exporters.
