Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin (ITB Berlin 2025), one of the world's largest travel fairs, was recently held from March 4 to March 6, 2025, at Berlin Expo Center City at Messedamm in Berlin, Germany. The motto of this year's convention was 'The Power of Transition Lives Here'.


      - The convention attracted 24,000 visitors, participating across 4 stages with a total of 17 themed tracks in 2024.

      - The Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India (GOI), participated at ITB Berlin 2025, leading a delegation of nearly 40 stakeholders from the Indian travel industry. The delegation showcased India's vibrant cultural diversity, diverse tourism products, and immersive travel experiences.

      - During the event, Ajit Gupte, the Ambassador of India to the Federal Republic of Germany, inaugurated the India Pavilion.

Main Point :-   (i) The 25th edition of the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) World Tourism and Aviation Leaders Summit was held at ITB Berlin 2025. This year's summit was hosted by PATWA in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Goa (India).

      (ii) PATWA, an affiliate member of United Nations (UN) Tourism, announced the winners of the prestigious '2025 edition of PATWA International Travel Awards'.

(iii) Indian state Goa made a significant mark at ITB Berlin 2025 by winning two prestigious awards at the PATWA International Travel Awards. This achievement further elevated Goa's status as India's premier tourism destination.
