PM Narendra Modi Visits DNHDD & Gujarat, Inaugurates Projects Worth Over Rs. 2,580 Crore.

The Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi visited the Union Territory (UT) of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNHDD) and Gujarat from March 7-8, 2025. During his visit, the PM inaugurated and laid foundation stones for multiple development projects worth over Rs. 2,580 crore in the UT. He then visited Gujarat to inaugurate and participate in various programs focused on healthcare, women empowerment, and rural development.


      - On March 7, 2025, PM inaugurated Phase 1 of Narendra Modi (NAMO) Hospital in Silvassa, DNHDD.

      - He also launched several development projects in Silvassa, totaling Rs. 2,580 crore.

      - PM distributed appointment letters under 'Rozgar Mela' and provided benefits under schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U), Gir Adarsh Aajeevika Yojana, and Sylvan Didi Scheme.

Main Point :-   (i) On March 7, 2025, PM launched the campaign in Surat, Gujarat.

      (ii) On March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day (IWD), PM participated in the Lakhpati Didi Program in Navsari district, Gujarat.

(iii) He launched two key initiatives, Gujarat Scheme for Antyodaya Families for Augmenting Livelihoods (G-SAFAL) and Gujarat Mentorship and Acceleration of Individuals for Transforming Rural Income (G-MAITRI), aimed at enhancing livelihoods and rural income in Gujarat.
