Gujarat CM Bhupendrabhai Patel Inaugurates Gujarat SemiConnect Conference 2025 & 19th IESA Vision Summit in Gandhinagar.

Bhupendra Patel, the Chief Minister (CM) of Gujarat, inaugurated the Gujarat SemiConnect Conference 2025, a 3-day event themed "Gujarat Silicon Gujarat: Powering India's Semiconductor Revolution", held from March 5-7, 2025, at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre (MMCEC) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- The conference included three main events: Building Local to Global Value Chain, the 19th IESA Vision Summit, and the 2nd ISPEC, focusing on semiconductor and electronics advancements.
- The conference included Industry Report launches, Technovation Awards by IESA, Poster Session Awards, MoU signings for semiconductor and fabrication (fab) sector investments, and seven-panel discussions.
- The Gujarat Government signed over 30 MoUs worth more than ₹1.04 lakh crore to strengthen semiconductor and electronics manufacturing in Gujarat.
Main Point :- (i) The Building Local to Global Value Chain event featured six country-specific roundtables with representatives from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, the Netherlands, and the United States of America (USA).
(ii) Powering India's Semiconductor Revolution is a premier event focused on the semiconductor and electronics industry.
(iii) The ISPEC 2 was co-located with the IESA Vision Summit and emphasized global-level Research and Development (R&D) and workforce development in collaboration with global industry leaders.
