India's C-CAMP and France's PariSanté Campus Partner to Establish Indo-French Life Sciences Sister Innovation Hub.

In February 2025, Bengaluru (Karnataka)-based Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology (MoS&T), Government of India (GoI), and PariSanté Campus, a leading digital health innovation cluster in France, signed an agreement to launch the Indo-French Life Sciences Sister Innovation Hub.
- The agreement was formalized through a Letter of Intent (LoI) signed by Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed, Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of C-CAMP, and Professor Antoine Tesnière, Director of PariSanté Campus.
- The partnership was officially announced by Prime Minister (PM) of India, Narendra Modi, and President of France, Emmanuel Macron, during the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit 2025 held from February 10-11, 2025, at the Grand Palais in Paris, France.
- The Indo-French Life Sciences Sister Innovation Hub aims to strengthen bilateral collaboration in the healthcare domain through innovation, research, and development.
Main Point :- (i) The Indo-French Life Sciences Sister Innovation Hub aims to promote healthcare research and innovation by leveraging expertise from both countries to address public health issues and foster collaboration between research institutes, academia, and businesses.
(ii) The collaboration focuses on two critical areas: One Health and Digital Health, bringing together top innovation hubs from both India and France to work on these key domains.
(iii) The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening bilateral ties, supporting research, and enhancing innovation to tackle global healthcare challenges.
