World Thinking Day Observed on 25 February 2025.

In February 2025, World Thinking Day (WTD) was celebrated on 22nd February by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides in 153 countries around the world. The day is dedicated to promoting international friendship and sisterhood, while also empowering girls and women globally. The event is organized annually by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

- The theme for WTD 2025, "Our Story," emphasizes the opportunity to reflect on the movement's past, present, and future, inspiring and uplifting communities worldwide.

💡 Other Important Facts:

(i) In 1926, delegates from Girl Guide and Girl Scout organizations around the world gathered in the United States of America (USA) at the 4th WAGGGS World Conference, where they decided to create Thinking Day as a special day for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
(ii) In 1999, at the 30th World Conference in Dublin (Ireland), the name was changed to "World Thinking Day" to better reflect the global reach of the celebration.
