In February 2025, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) launched the campaign "Imagine a World with More Women in Science" to mark the 10-year anniversary of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11 February 2025), with support from Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
