In February 2025, the Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoL&E) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FoundIt (formerly known as Monster), a prominent job portal, on June 26, 2024. This partnership seeks to utilize the National Career Service (NCS) Portal to connect job seekers with both domestic and international employment opportunities.

      - Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, highlighted the platform's significant role in the government's vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.'

      - The NCS Portal, launched in 2015, has over 3.5 crore registered job seekers and 30 lakh employers.

      - The integration of the NCS Portal with the e-Migrate platform (Ministry of External Affairs) provides job seekers with access to verified opportunities in countries such as Germany, Finland, and Middle Eastern nations. Over 500 Recruitment Agencies (RAs) are onboarded to facilitate this.

Main Point :-   (i) NCS is connected with My Bharat and the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) to address skill gaps, enhancing employability for youth in both blue-collar and white-collar positions. The partnership also emphasizes providing opportunities for women and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) through fair and inclusive hiring practices.

(ii) FoundIt will utilize Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to share global job listings on the NCS Portal, offering seamless access for candidates.

(iii) Countries like Germany, Finland, and those in the Middle East are seeking skilled workers for blue-collar and white-collar jobs. This MoU aims to connect Indian job seekers to these high-demand opportunities.
