In February 2025, Forbes India unveiled its 5th Edition of the "Top 10 Richest Women in the World in 2025" list, showcasing the immense wealth amassed by women across diverse sectors.


      - Alice Louise Walton, the daughter of Walmart Inc. founder Sam Walton, claimed the top global position with a net worth of USD 112.5 billion.

      - India's Savitri Devi Jindal and Family secured the 7th spot with a net worth of USD 32.3 billion, representing the JSW (Jindal South West) Group.

     

Main Point :-   (i) The women featured in the list have achieved significant wealth through industries such as retail, cosmetics, energy, finance, and technology, leading their family businesses to global prominence.

      (ii) The top 10 wealthiest women globally, as highlighted by Forbes, have collectively accumulated a net worth exceeding approximately USD 500 billion.

(iii) According to the Forbes Billionaire List 2024, women now represent 3% of the global billionaire population.
