In February 2025, the Department of Energy, Government of Odisha, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), which is based in New Delhi (Delhi). EESL is a joint venture of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the Ministry of Power (MoP).
