Bharat Tex 2025: India's Biggest Textile Event Organized in New Delhi and Greater Noida.

Bharat Tex 2025, the 2nd edition of India's largest global textile event, was organized by a consortium of 12 Textile Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) with the support of the Ministry of Textiles (MoT) to highlight India's exceptional capabilities in the textile industry. The 2025 edition was centered around the twin themes of "Resilient Global Value Chains" and "Textile Sustainability."


      - Bharat Tex 2025 was held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi (14 to 17 February 2025), covering the entire textile value chain from raw materials to finished products.

      - India Expo Centre and Mart (IECM), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (12 to 15 February 2025): Hosted related exhibitions and textile industry showcases.

     

Main Point :-   (i) Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi addressed Bharat Tex 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, emphasizing its role in showcasing India's rich cultural diversity through traditional textiles and garments.

      (ii) Union Minister Giriraj Singh, MoT, inaugurated the Indie Haat at the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy (NCMHA), New Delhi, which featured traditional weaves and crafts, promoting the blend of tradition and innovation in the textile sector.

(iii) Union Minister of State (MoS) Pabitra Margherita, MoT, inaugurated the 'International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Silk Sector – SILKTECH 2025' organized by the Central Silk Board (CSB) at Bharat Mandapam as part of Bharat Tex 2025.
